I definitely want the epidural. They asked me at my first prenatal visit if I wanted natural childbirth or anesthesia. I told them definitely drugs!!!! I even asked could I have it then so I could avoid the pain, LOL! The closer it gets, the more nervous I'm getting. I'm worried about whether or not I can handle the pain up to the point where I can have an epidural. In my childbirth class Thursday night, the nurse said they now would give you the epidural around 4 or 5cm if you wanted it. I'm just wondering how bad the pain will be before I get to that point.
